You may be co-infected if:
• You have ever shared a needle to inject drugs (insulin, steroids, heroin, cocaine, etc.) • You are a healthcare worker who comes in contact with infected blood • You have been pierced or tattooed with an unsterilized (dirty) needle • You had a blood transfusion or transplant prior to 1992 • You engaged in sex that involved the exchange of blood
